Welcome to our FAQs. We hope you can find answers to many of the questions and concerns you may be having with regards to your experience with remodeling or building your new project using marble, tile, or new bathroom fixtures.

How do I start the tiling process?
We want to make the process easy for you and we are glad to help!
Choose your counter tops and cabinets before selecting your tile!
Tile is available in a wider selection than cabinetry, therefore its important to choose tops and cabinets first and then match the tile from an array of thousands of tiles.
Look through magazines, decorating books, and on the Internet.
Collect pictures of tiles you like even if the color or the applications are not quite right. Its important to get a feel for what you like. When you visit us in the showroom, bring your file of collected photos and we can start from there.
Bring your architect/contractor scale drawing or blueprints to the showroom?
If you have them, bring in your drawings with you when you visit us so that our professional staff can really get a sense of the directions your construction/renovation is going.
Bring your samples and swatches to the showroom?
If you have made choices for the room or rooms that you need to incorporate into your tile design, bring us the samples and swatches so that we can help you coordinate the while look. Having that small piece of fabric with you may help you to find a way to make one room flow into the other.
How do I stick to my budget?
Our professionals trained sales staff will do everything possible to get you what you like at a cost you can afford. Be upfront about how much you would like to spend at the start of the project. From the grandest of new homes to the most simple of repairs, we have something for every budget.
Do I have to make an appointment to see a salesperson?
We will welcome you at any time during our showroom business hours. We can however, recommend you make an appointment if you are working on a large project, coming from a distance, or you want to work with a specific salesperson. But if you would just like to look around at our selection, be our guests! Our showroom is chock full of products, plan on visiting for a while. For years, tile wad plain and had little variety, but today there is a wide range of selections to choose from and I am sure you will find what you are looking for.
After I place an order, how long until my tiles come in?
We offer two types of materials, stocks and special orders. Stock materials are those tiles that will in La Modas warehouse within 7-10 business days. Special order materials ate handmade tiles or custom mosaics that will take at least 3-4 weeks to make then another week to get shipped from were it is being made. It is very important to tell your salesperson the time limit you have on your project so there are no delays from any one.
How do I figure out how much tile is needed?
I would have your contractor or tile installer go over the quantities with you after a design is finalized. You are more than welcome to have them come into the showroom for a meeting so that all questions can be answered.
Will La Moda Ceramic Corp. deliver your tile to your job site?
Yes we do deliver. There is a delivery charge based upon where your job site is. All delivered are curb side only. There needs to be someone at the job site to accept and sign off on the materials that are being dropped.
Will there be a freight cost added on to my order?
Freight cost is a separate fee and is not included in the square foot/piece cost. Due to the weight and value of the materials being ordered all freight charges are added on at the time of delivery.
Can I return any tile I do not use?
In some circumstances tile can be returned with in a timely manner. ONLY FULL BOXES are accepted. I would call your salesperson before bringing the boxes back to make sure that they can be returned. It is stated on your invoice if a martial is SPECIAL ORDER NO RETURNS. Due to dye lot situations many materials cannot be returned. Stone and hand made tiles are NON-RETURNABLE under any circumstances.
What happens if I run out of tiles in the middle of my installation?
This is common occurrence. Sometimes layouts and design changes on the job site can sometime run into shortage of materials. Because we understand the situation and how stressful it is we will try to get the additional materials as quickly as possible to you.
Do you have the designers on staff?
Of course we do! Tile design is an art form that requires experience, training, and professionalism. Our design staff has the creativity and knowledge of all the products in the showroom.
